Do you know someone that should be recognised for their contributions to our sector?

Is there a program/organisation that should be celebrated for their achievements in reducing AOD related harms to NSW communities? 

NADA invites you to submit nominations for the 2018 AOD Awards for the NSW Non Government Sector ('The Awards'). Nominations close 13 April. 


The Awards recognise and celebrates the significant contribution of the sector in reducing alcohol and other drugs related harms to NSW communities through leadership, program design and delivery, and dedicated workforce.


Award categories

**For a Program/Organisation:

  • Excellence in Treatment
  • Excellence in Health Promotion 
  • Excellence in Research and Evaluation


**For Individuals:

  • Outstanding Contribution Award
  • First Australians Award - Improving AOD outcomes for Aboriginal peoples

Award winners of each category receive a prize of $500 to assist in professional/ organisational development, an award plaque and a certificate. Winners will also be recognised in the Advocate and on the NADA website.

The Awards ceremony will be held on 7 June 2018 as part of the NADA Conference 2018 dinner.
