In 2017, NADA launched its first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), the NADA Innovate RAP 2017-2019.

RAPs provide a framework for action for organisations to realise their vision for reconciliation. They are practical plans of action built on relationships, respect and opportunities.

An Innovate RAP, one of four types of RAPs, is for organisations that have developed relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and who are ready to develop or implement programs for cultural learning, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment and supplier diversity.

NADA has developed a RAP to:

- strengthen our relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders

- help foster shared cultural understanding and respect across our sector

- strengthen opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the context of NADA as a peak body and as an organisation

- committed to strengthening its employment and supplier diversity.

The RAP program is a Reconciliation Australia program. To find out more, visit http://www.reconciliation.org.au/raphub.
