Join us for the launch of the Working with Women in Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Practice Guide – now in its 3rd Edition, and a lively panel discussion on the things that matter to women seeking AOD treatment.

The panel discussion will explore the approaches, resources and experiences of women accessing specialist AOD treatment in NSW from women who provide treatment. We will Choose To Challenge the current status quo around treatment provision to women and celebrate International Women's Day.

One of NADAs most popular resources, the “yellow book” has been a collaborative effort by NADA and member organisations that provide specialist treatment to women, and in this edition we have had an opportunity to:
  • Update sections focused on women from diverse backgrounds
  • New resources
  • Update new research literature references
  • Consult again with member organisations

Out of respect to our member services hosting International Women’s Day events on the 8th we are holding our webinar on the 9th , NADA International Women’s Day events are usually face to face and will be in the future COVID-permitting.
