Join us for an interactive forum led by NADA's Practice Leadership Group (NPLG) that will provide information, strategies and tips you can apply in your practice. To find out more about the NPLG click here.
The forum will:
- Explore the creative ways the AOD sector has evolved and overcome challenges over the past few years,
- Discuss the results of a workforce study on managers and leaders (completed by Dr Ramon Wenzel),
- Hear from Stephanie Hocking (Director, Centre of Alcohol and other Drugs (CAOD) and Dr Deborah Zador (Chief Addiction Medicine Specialists, CAOD) about the work of the CAOD, Ministry of Health,
- Provide a series of presentations to build workforce capacity,
- Present a workshop on using your strengths to enhance your practice and wellbeing facilitated by Meredith Turnbull (Coaching and Consulting),
- Facilitate panel discussions on consumer engagement and how the sector has evolved and where to next,
- Give an opportunity to meet and network with other workers from member services and sector leaders.
