Exciting opportunities have arisen for Residential Support Workers (RSW’s) to join the Kedesh Rehabilitation Services (KRS) team in our brand-new treatment facility in Mona Vale, Sydney. 

Reporting to the Service Manager, the RSW role will support the efficient operation of the unit and the team. You will undertake duties such as client supervision and support, medication administration, medication error checking and reporting, data entry and analysis, administrative duties, cleaning duties, as well as other ad hoc duties canvassed and developed by the team and allocated by the Service Manager. 

We have a variety of shifts available, on a rotating roster, covering nights, weekends, and evening shifts. Some of the hours are solo shifts, so an ability to function effectively without direct daily supervision is essential. When applying, please indicate your availability on your cover letter.


Essential Criteria:
  • Demonstrable rapport building skills, compassion and empathy
  • Strong administration and record management skills
  • Excellent use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • A current c class driver's license 
  • Current First Aid certificate
Desirable Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as Cert. IV Alcohol and Other Drugs, Psychology or other welfare qualification) or working towards a qualification
  • Previous experience working with co-occurring substance use and mental illness or working in a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility
  • Previous experience administering medication
