Are you an experienced and innovative professional ready to take on a brand-new role in the leadership team of Odyssey Programs? 
Odyssey has begun providing specialist AOD programs and services to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Individuals and communities, particularly in Western and South Western Sydney. The new program also provides community development and primary prevention as well as research projects to support reduction of AOD related harms. 
Odyssey is one of the largest and best regarded Alcohol and Other Drug Organisations in NSW operating across 2 residential campuses in South Western Sydney and 5 hubs with associated outreach sites throughout Greater Sydney.


 - Tertiary qualifications and/or VET qual with significant experience
 - Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and manage staff to maximise their performance and their job satisfaction.
 - Demonstrated experience and ability to network, develop stakeholder relationships (including with funding bodies) and work within communities particularly CALD communities
 - Demonstrated experience managing programs supporting people with alcohol and other drug, mental health, or other similar support needs.
 - Demonstrated experience with and ability to develop and deliver AOD programs, particularly in community settings.
 - Demonstrated ability to support people with complex support needs including those with intersecting AOD and Mental Health needs and cognitive impairment, significant contact with criminal justice system and other similar complexities. 
 - Experience work with CALD communities and/or within CALD specialist programs and organisations
 - Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and experience in leading initiatives that add value, improve, and enhance services, processes and practices.
 - Understanding of the needs of CALD communities, and potential impacts of CALD background on health and wellbeing
 - Able to deliver accurate and timely reporting, including to funders
 - Ability to lead teams of staff 
 - Computer literacy
 - Understanding of current context of AOD treatment in NSW, including Clinical Care Standards
