WHOS provides a range of alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment programs in NSW and Queensland. Information on WHOS’ services can be found at www.whos.com.au We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person to join WHOS West service located in Penrith. WHOS West provides assessment and referral services to people exiting withdrawal management, halfway housing with case management, group based AOD education and support.
Remuneration: As per the SCHADSI Award Salary packaging available Please note this position is offered on a fixed term contract basis to 30 June 2024, extension is based on ongoing funding.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in:
submit a copy of their resume
provide a cover letter that addresses the selection criteria below
Position Criteria:
- assessment and referral services
- case management, one to one support and groupwork in an AOD or related setting
- providing AOD information and education sessions
- liaison with allied service providers
- the use of electronic information management systems including electronic client file and data management, with strong administration and written communication skills
submit a copy of their resume
provide a cover letter that addresses the selection criteria below
Position Criteria:
- Qualifications in AOD, Human Services, Community Services, or related fields
- Experience working in AOD, mental health or a related field
- Networking experience
- Advanced time management
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current driver's license and satisfactory driver declaration
- Knowledge of AOD Harm Reduction approach
- Knowledge of AOD, health and human services in the Nepean Blue Mountains region
