Description
To provide formal and informal support to Kathleen York House Clients and their children during evenings and weekends. This is a position that requires sleeping on site.
Requirement
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Relevant AOD Qualifications
Experience in the alcohol and other drugs field (minimum 3 years)
Excellent understanding of the complex range of issues involved in SUD especially for women and those caring for children or young people
Experience in trauma, mental health issues and other comorbidities
Understanding of the policy, legal and regulatory environment for treatment of SUD and drug education, including child protection
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working in a team-orientated culture and environment
Current Drivers Licence
Current First Aid Certificate
Desirable
Experience in facilitating Groups.
Affiliation with professional body and experience in relative field

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK: The successful applicant will be required to provide the results of a current Criminal Record Check and a Working with Children check – undertaken at their own cost. (This is a requirement for employment) .
