Your opportunity
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide people-centred, evidence-informed care for your clients. Care that achieves the highest health outcomes. Care that makes a real difference to the lives of those with AOD dependency and other psychological and physiological issues.

Some duties include:
  • Conduct nursing assessment and admission of clients to the unit
  • Maintain the ethical standards of your profession and the Withdrawal Unit.
  • Initiate withdrawal treatment as per the guidelines and delegations in the Detoxification Unit policies and procedures
  • Ensure correct administration, recording and storage of all medications/incident/med forms
  • Use the Client Management System (CMS) to maintain accurate and up to date client records.

This is a permanent full time position and the base salary range is $40.47 – $47.19 per hour dependent on experience.

What you’ll bring
You are an engaging individual with the ability to connect with clients who are navigating difficult life experiences. You can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary team and utilise the appropriate techniques to support your clients.

At Lives Lived Well, you can:

  • Grow as a person and as a professional, extending your knowledge and skills beyond the norm.
  • Be trusted with autonomy in a supportive, respectful environment.

But it’s more than that.
You’ll join a curious team that thinks differently and seeks new ways. We look to the evidence. We explore new ideas. And when we reach “better”, we ask, “What’s next?” Which means you’ll need to be comfortable with change - you’ll enjoy variety, the agility, and the opportunity to achieve more, faster.

And while you support others, we’ll support you, with some great benefits including:

  • Salary packaging to increase your take-home pay
  • Regular clinical supervision, case conferencing and debriefings.
  • An employee assistance program (EAP) for you and your family, including emotional, psychological, financial counselling and wellbeing services.
