  • Located in Sydney, NSW
  • Part-time – 30.4 hours per week 
  • Contract to 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension, dependent on funding
  • Salary range from $69,319 to $73,676. pro rata (depending on experience) + superannuation contribution + eligibility for salary packaging


The Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies (NADA) is the peak organisation for non government alcohol and other drugs services in NSW. We advocate for, strengthen and support the sector. As a member driven peak body, NADA’s decisions and actions are informed by the experiences, knowledge and concerns of its membership.


This exciting position will assist the organisation in coordinating member travel and grants administration, event and webinar support and other project administrative support services. If you have demonstrated experience in project/or grants management we would like to hear from you.


The successful candidate for this position will have highly organised administrative skills, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and book venues, event speakers and facilitators.
  • Coordinate webinars and editing videos
  • Organising travel and accommodation for event speakers and facilitators
  • Administration for NADA grants program
  • Support program staff in sector development, training and capacity-building initiatives for and with NADA members
  • Provide project administration support, such as record keeping, events, expenditure and communication within set timeframes 

Requirement

SELECTION CRITERIA:


Essential

  • Experience in project support and/or grants administration
  • Experience in organising events, training, and meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with staff and a range of stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner, and sustain working relationships
  • Capacity to prepare presentations, reports and general communication
  • High level of computer literacy with database and advanced Microsoft office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive and Teams
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise workload and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable 

  • Experience in managing Zoom webinars and basic video editing
  • Understanding and application of quality improvement concepts
  • Understanding of the alcohol and other drugs (or broader community services) sector
