Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in the residential program
- Adapt an empathetic, compassionate approach to addiction recovery
- Assist the multidisciplinary team with the care and coordination of clients
What does the role look like?
- Transporting the clients to Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous/Gamblers Anonymous (AA/NA/GA) meetings in the greater community
- Assisting clients with requests they may have that are in line with our ethos
- Be available to support clients who are struggling with their own addiction recovery
- Ability to adapt to shift work (i.e. weekends and/or overnight shifts)
- General shift hours are 6pm-6:30am (wake shift) or 6am – 2.30pm.
- Foundation House offers additional tax-free income (FBT) of up to $15,900 p.a Access to an experienced multidisciplinary team of counsellors, psychotherapists and social workers
- Access to Employment Assistance Program (EAP)
Renumeration is inline with SCHADS award and dependent on experience.
