Announcement of the NGO Research and Evaluation Capacity Building Grants Program outcome

NADA and the NSW Ministry of Health would like to thank all applicants of the NGO Research and Evaluation Capacity Building Grants. All applications demonstrated a keen desire to improve the capacity for research and evaluation in the NGO AOD sector. The Selection Committee made special note of the high calibre of applications received.

Overall, more than $1m of funds were applied for by more than 10 organisations, demonstrating a need within the NGO AOD sector for funds to build research and evaluation capacity.

Applications were received from a wide range of NGO AOD services in NSW with all but one covering regional areas of NSW. Of the six successful organisations, there was one Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation.
