The health and wellbeing of our members and their clients, our colleagues, and the greater community is of utmost importance to the staff of the Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies (NADA).
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affects us all, and NADA is working to respond to this. To help mitigate its transmission, we have decided to postpone the NADA Conference 2020: Enhancing connections. This is a vital step towards ‘flattening the curve’ to protect everyone, and to ensure our health system will be able to cope.
We will be in touch with the new conference dates in due course.
We are greatly disappointed, but also hopeful for the future. We have received a record number of quality abstracts, the conference website traffic tripled, and award nominations were already trickling in. We can’t wait to meet you on the other side.
If you submitted an abstract or nominated for an award
We appreciate the time and effort you spent in developing your submission. Thank you! We will hold onto these and will be in touch once we determine the new dates.
If you have registered or sponsored the conference
We greatly appreciate your support. We would like to offer you a full refund and will contact you soon. If you have any questions, please email Maricar Navarro.
If you applied for a scholarship
We’ll hold onto your submission and contact you once we have determined the new dates.
We apologise for the inconvenience. We will try our best to solve any of your concerns you may have with respect to the change of dates.
Stay well,
Larry Pierce
