Overview
We lead, strengthen and advocate for the sector. NADA’s decisions and actions are informed by our members’ priorities [PDF]. We provide a range of programs and services that focus on sector and workforce development, data management, governance and management support, research and evaluation, sector representation and advocacy, and actively contribute to public health policy.
Policy and advocacy
We lead strong and impactful advocacy for members, focused on addressing critical AOD sector funding and contracting, workforce, service access, and reducing drug stigma.
Organisational and workforce development
We deliver tools, resources and support to build member organisational capacity; deliver workforce and professional development opportunities; and influence and partner on initiatives to support and attract workers to the sector.
- Member support: strategic initiatives; publications; service tune-ups; assisting with implementation of NSW Health practice guidelines, policies, programs and activities; and grant administration.
- Resources: worker wellbeing, working with priority populations, clinical practice areas, consumer engagement, service governance and enhancement, NADAbase data tools, and research
