WHOS Gunyah is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for a fulltime AOD Community Service Worker role in our Men’s Program, Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW.
Through this role you will be able to provide:
- assessment, referral, and education,
- supervision and support to clients in a residential setting,
- a structured daily program,
- therapeutic interventions
Requirement
To be considered applicants must respond to and meet the following selection criteria:
- 1. Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
- 2. Ability to work with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
- 3. Knowledge of the AOID sector,
- 4. Work a rotating roster inclusive of day, evening and weekend shifts.
- 5. Ability to facilitate groups.
- 6. Ability to work within a residential treatment service.
- 7. Understanding of harm minimisation strategies.
- 8. Unrestricted driving license

Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
- Salary packaging is available.
