Description
WHOS New Beginnings is a women’s only AOD residential service, located within the beautiful grounds of Broughton Hall Lilyfield. Information on WHOS services can be found at www.whos.com.au.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic woman to fill this part time AOD position.
Being a female is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 31 of the NSW Anti- Discrimination Act.
Requirement
Criteria:
• Minimum Certificate IV in AOD/Community Services/Mental Health or relevant qualification
• Knowledge of and/or experience in working with AOD clients.
• A desire to work with women and an understanding of their related issues.
• Available to work evening and weekend shifts as required.
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate/CPR or willingness to obtain same
• Knowledge of the Therapeutic Community model
• Group work skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation.
• Experience liaising with stakeholders such as GP’s/medical clinics, withdrawal management services, community services and allied referral agencies.

Remuneration is negotiable based on qualifications and experience equivalent to SCHADSI Award Level 4. Salary sacrificing is available.
