Description
ADFNSW which operates Kathleen York House, seeks a dynamic individual to be part of its multidisciplinary team. Kathleen York House is an abstinent based residential treatment facility supporting women in overcoming their Substance use disorders and reducing its harmful impact on their lives, the lives of their children, families and the community.
Award: SCHADS Award - Level dependent upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation and attractive salary packaging arrangements
Purpose of Position: To provide case management; group facilitation; program administration; and formal and informal support to Kathleen York House Clients and their children.
Requirement
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field or substantial experience in the alcohol and other drugs field
- Excellent understanding of the complex range of issues involved in SUD especially for women and those caring for children or young people
- Experience in trauma, mental health issues and other comorbidities
- Comprehensive Case Management competencies
- Understanding of the policy, legal and regulatory environment for treatment of SUD and drug education, including child protection
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current Drivers Licence and the ability to drive a passenger vehicle
- Current First Aid Certificate
