We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Div 1 or Div 2 medication endorsed) for a 12 month contract role in our Non-Residential Withdrawal Nurse program. The position is based in the ACT and is a community nursing role, supporting people in the community to reduce or withdraw from alcohol and other drugs. The Non-Residential Withdrawal program operates within the multi-disciplinary Community team, and provides: engagement and screening, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, support to individuals to reduce or withdraw from substance whilst in the comfort of their own home, relapse prevention strategies, coordinated care with other providers, high quality transfer of care, secondary consultation and education sessions to other health providers.
