Description

We Help Ourselves (WHOS) provides a range of alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment programs in NSW and Queensland. Information on WHOS’ services can be found at www.whos.com.au.

WHOS Southern NSW located at Goulburn provides two services for clients seeking AOD treatment:

• Mandala House – a residential therapeutic community program

• Goulburn Day Program – a non-residential program

WHOS provides evidence based, trauma informed, inclusive treatment services to people experiencing issues related to their use of AOD.

WHOS is currently looking for permanent, fulltime or part-time staff to join the Goulburn team. This is an opportunity to use your skills, knowledge, expertise and compassion to support people experiencing substance dependence within an evidence based, trauma informed, compassionate and inclusive service. This will be a permanent fulltime

Requirement

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or other relevant qualifications.
  • Experience working in AOD, mental health or a related field
  • Knowledge of AOD Harm Reduction approaches
  • Availability to work shiftwork, including evenings and weekends (note: evening shift includes a sleepover).
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy, using electronic client file and data management systems and Microsoft 365
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current driver's license
  • Right to work in Australia and be willing to provide a current National Police Check.


Remuneration

SCHADSI Award Level 4. Pay Point based on qualifications and experience.
