Call for abstracts: NADA outcomes forum

NADA invites submissions for lightning round presentations for the NADA Outcomes Forum on 14 August 2019 at Rydges Sydney Central.
This is an opportunity for you to showcase your innovative practice and research in client outcomes, experience and feedback. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts on the theme.
Lightning round presentations provide authors the opportunity to share their work in brief oral presentations. Each presentation is limited to 10 minutes.
The NADA Outcomes Forum is your forum and we hope you’ll play a key role in shaping the day.

Key dates

Abstracts must be submitted by Monday 15 July 2019 at 5pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)
Proposal notifications: Wednesday 24 July 2019

Submission guidelines

How to submit your abstract
Email your submission to by Friday 15 July 2019 at 5pm EST.

Abstract format and guidelines

Abstract body text should be a maximum of 200 words.
Abstracts must show the title of the paper, name of presenter/s, contact details and their affiliations.
Abstracts should clearly demonstrate positive outcomes (for people, organisations, workforce) or lessons learnt from outcomes that weren’t successful.
Abstracts showcasing research should clearly demonstrate how it can be applied to practices.
A brief biography (100 words) for each presenter must also be submitted.

A/V requirements
A laptop, projector, and microphone shall be provided on the day.

Abstract submission process

Review criteria
Abstract submissions will be reviewed and selected by NADA based on the following criteria:

Applicability – Abstracts should propose presentations that will allow audience members to walk away with practical lessons learned and actionable next steps to help advance their work.
Quality – The material is well-organised and prepared.
Thematic fit – Abstracts will be selected based on its fit with the theme of client outcomes, experience and feedback.

Applicants will be notified of their success by Wednesday 24 July 2019.
