The Health Psychology Research Group and the Network of Alcohol and Other Drugs Agencies (NADA) are currently seeking a person who would like to complete a PhD in the School of Psychology at the University of Wollongong.
We are keen to support a person to apply for the UOW Matching Scholarship 2020 round. This is a competitive scholarship process, where the funds for a scholarship come from both UOW (50%) and an industry partner (50%). The person would aim to start the PhD in spring session this year or Autumn session 2021. Download the guidelines for the scheme [PDP]
To support this application, NADA have agreed to co-fund
the scholarship.
The project will focus on understanding and improving how NSW alcohol and other drugs agencies use client data to inform their clinical care and service evaluation. Particular emphasis will be placed on following up client progress after treatment is completed. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct applied research within the non-government sector and to make real world impacts.
As applications for this scholarship round close on 25 May, we are keen to hear from anyone that might be interested as soon as possible. We are happy to help you prepare the application.
