The State and Territory Alcohol and other Drugs Peaks Network is comprised of the eight jurisdictional peak bodies for the alcohol and other drug treatment and harm reduction sector. The network provides a conduit for the Australian Government to alcohol and other drug services and provides advice to the Australian Government on policies and programs to reduce alcohol and other drug related harms to individuals, families and communities.
The network coordinator will be required to:

  • establish and maintain relationships with each of the network members to support jurisdictional engagement in network activities
  • support Network representation with key stakeholders to develop the networks’ influence and improve sector visibility
  • support the networks’ policy and systems analysis and advocacy
  • provide secretariat support to the network.

The position is a part-time, fixed term contract form 1 September 2019–30 June 2020. Hours and location to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary of $82 837 (including super), with salary packaging options available.
