COVID-19 funding opportunities update

As members will be aware, the NADA CEO has been nominated the leader for the NSW Ministry of Health’s NGO Community of Practice and a representative on the overarching COVID-19 Clinical Council. To this end, he has led the development of a proposed funding package for the NGO sector to assist with the extra costs to agencies that COVID-19 has placed on our sector. This funding request covers issues like the additional costs of telecommunications/telehealth infrastructure and training; personal protective equipment; and additional infection control measures, staff redeployment and outreach for client management. This is in addition to any other costs associated with the substantial business realignment processes members have had to undertake.
