Description

In this diverse new role you will be leading a multidisciplinary team & coordinating all aspects of Vinnies newly created New England AOD Hub.  


The New England AOD Hub is an exciting new service that will provide specialist AOD treatment and support, with a focus on delivering services tailored to meet the needs of people living in rural and regional areas.  


Utilizing your AOD knowledge & strong leadership skills you will support the team to deliver high-quality case management, care coordination, group work and general drug and alcohol treatment. 


You will also play a pivotal role in fostering and developing strong relationships with partnering organisations & coordinate the successful delivery of programs, services, and shared care arrangements.

Requirement

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, or other related fields 
  • NSW Drivers License
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff
  • Extensive experience working with people with complex needs in an alcohol and other drug or mental health setting
  • Understanding of risk management responsibilities in an alcohol and other drug and mental health context
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to promote and model the
